Bulb-Forcing Workshop

Every spring our gardens burst with daffodils, tulips, crocuses and irises. This happens because we plant them in the fall. But there is a way to have them bloom in our homes in the middle of winter. It may sound cruel, but we have to “force” them.
In this workshop, you will learn basic techniques for forcing bulbs and how long it takes for different types of bulbs to bloom.
You will leave the workshop with a pot of bulbs ready for winter flowering.
Pre-registration is required because we need to buy supplies for the workshop.
A donation of $5 to cover the cost of bulbs and pots is suggested.
