Museum Passes are provided to Columbia County residents
through a generous grant from the Ellsworth Kelly Foundation.

Print from Home: Passes may be reserved up to thirty days in advance and can be printed from home or at the library.

Some museums also accept passes displayed on a phone.

The pass will only be valid for the date of visit listed on the confirmation page, so request the pass for the day you wish to use it.

These passes are marked closed for the days when the museums are closed.

Pick Up/Return Pass: Passes may be reserved online for up to thirty days in advance and must be picked up at the library.

The Columbia County Libraries Association, composed of the 11 public libraries in Columbia County, works together to serve all the residents of the county. Individual libraries may have additional passes–check with your home library.

Empire Pass

The Empire Pass provides unlimited day-use vehicle entry to most facilities operated by New York State Parks and the State Dept. of Environmental Conservation including forests, beaches, trails and more. The pass may be borrowed for 3 days. To reserve a pass, please call 518-851-7120 or email info@claveracklibrary.org . To borrow the pass, you must have a library card in good standing from our library or another library in the Mid-Hudson Library System.
