Read 1000 Books Before Kindergarten

1000 Books before Kindergarten is a year-round reading program for children
from birth until they start Kindergarten.

– Why Read? –

Reading aloud helps strengthen language skills and builds vocabulary, two important tools for learning to read. It also builds imagination and creativity. Sharing books with children promotes a life long love of books and reading.

– Program Steps –

Register – contact info@claveracklibrary.org, if you need a library card, sign up online.

Track Reading – Log each book you read, you can read books more than once.
