NEW YORK IS COMMITTED TO A FULL COUNT IN THE
2020 CENSUS

April 1, 2020 is Census Day for the next decennial census; the nation’s once-per-decade, constitutionally-mandated count of every American, regardless of their citizenship status.

The decennial census influences how hundreds of billions of dollars in public funds are allocated for critical public services like emergency response, schools, libraries, hospitals, roads and bridges, as well as our congressional representation in Washington. This all depends on an accurate and fully counted census response.

While we are all dealing with the current COVID-19 Crisis and many of us are at home please take this time to complete the 2020 Census.

How To Respond

The 2020 Census will ask a few simple questions about you and everyone who is or will be living with you on April 1, 2020.
