Youth Clubhouses of Columbia-Greene; a program of MHACG
The Columbia & Greene Youth Clubhouses were opened and established in April & May of 2017. The Youth Clubhouses are a community-based and peer driven recovery community organization created, but not limited to, to serve youth ages 12-17 and young adults 18+. Clubhouses encourage positive peer, family, and community involvement. Clubhouses promote long-term recovery through recreation, pro-social activities, skill building opportunities, education, and activities centered on overall health and wellness.
Our mission is to provide resources to all young individuals within the community who are in recovery, who are seeking recovery, or who have been impacted by Substance Use Disorder (SUD). We also welcome all young allies in the community who have been impacted by SUD and who support recovery
Narcan Training will teach you how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and administer the opioid overdose reversal drug Naloxone. We will also discuss overdose risk factors, Good Samaritan Law, community resources, and provide Narcan kits to each participant.
