October 11 will be our last day operating in the current library. Many of you have seen some changes and movement of materials in the last weeks to get ready. A corps of volunteers will be at work to move the materials to the new library.
From October 11 until October 26 the Philmont Public Library in Philmont will be taking in our “hold” items. These are items that patrons have reserved from other libraries. Philmont Library will send out phone or email notices, in just the same way we do at Claverack Library. You will need to pick them up from the Philmont Library and follow their loan rules. Your items can be returned to any open library in the Mid-Hudson library system and many of your items won’t be due until after we open the new library.
The Claverack Library will not be able to accept returns of library material between Saturday, October 12 and Friday, October 25. There will be no items checked out from the Claverack Library with a due date that falls between those days. We will have extended return dates due to the closure of the library.
