This presentation highlights some of the key rules, rights and responsibilities necessary for the maintenance of a healthy and successful democracy. October 13th | 6:30 PM Eleanor Roosevelt :Becoming Who She Was Though blessed with the Roosevelt name, fame and fortune, Eleanor Roosevelt’s early life was far from the comfortable, carefree and attentive life her husband had enjoyed. This session explores the many hardships and challenges that shaped a shy and insecure little girl into one of the most admired women in the world.  November 16th | 6:30 PM FDR and Veterans Day Franklin Roosevelt took his role as Commander-in-Chief very seriously and believed this nation owed a great debt of thanks to the young men and women who protect our democratic way of Life. This session highlights some of the ways FDR honored our nation's service members. December 14th | 6:30 PM Christmas with the Roosevelts For Roosevelt’s Christmas time was truly the most wonderful time of the year. This session presents the customs and traditions followed by the Roosevelt family as they celebrated Christmas, one of their favorite holidays of the year.  Presented by Jeffrey Urbin, Education Specialist at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum.
