The Friends are in the early stage of planning a Cookbook Sale & Festival from Noon to 5 PM on June 27 & 28 at the Churchtown Firehouse Community Support Center. This event is independent from the Fall book sale the library promotes. We are planning to sell mainly high quality cookbooks at discounted price from their retail value, have up to 10 cookbooks authors present to sign books, and to offer food from cookbook recipes along with drinks. SWAG (aprons, stickers, tote bags, etc.) are also being considered for sale. Sponsors thus far are Talbott & Arding.
