The Friends are in the early stage of planning a Cookbook Sale & Festival from Noon to 5 PM on June 27 & 28 at the Churchtown Firehouse Community Support Center. This event is in addition to the Fall book sale the library promotes. We are planning to sell mainly high-quality cookbooks at discounted prices from their retail value, host authors to sign their cookbooks, and to offer local food and drink for sale. SWAG (aprons, stickers, etc.) are also being considered for sale. Sponsors thus far are Talbott & Arding. Volunteers and cookbook donations will be needed to help with this fundraiser.
