Battle of the Books is a library system-wide book trivia competition. Coaches from participating libraries choose a selection of books that every team will read.

Throughout the summer, teams meet to discuss the books, go through practice questions, and set up scrimmages with other local teams. At the end of the summer, the venue will be set up with buzzer systems, scoreboards, and gracious volunteers.

The Semi-Regional Battle pits the teams -- Jeopardy Style -- against one another to test their knowledge of the books.

Students will meet every week throughout the summer
to practice and get ready for the final battle on
Saturday, September 19th.
